The Cubbie Blue characters with their multiracial friends teach children to embrace diversity, explain global warming and deal with social issues like bullying and disabilities such as blindness. It’s cool how Randa found a way to make a main character struggle with stuttering. If you’re planning to talk #diversity with any child you should visit her author page!
